Background
In early 2022, we bought an RV and named it after our wonder dog and mascot. As we ventured out to travel across Canada, we built this private website to share our travel stories with friends and family.
We’re on a much different tour now and still welcome community spirit, love, and private, intentional communication. So, here we are…
What to do while you’re here
Purpose
- Private Community: This site serves as our own private online community, allowing users to manage their profile and add themself into various GROUPS to participate in discussions. Collaboration and social learning is a valuable democratic process and helps to build vibrant, healthy families. That’s us! But we’re also concerned about privacy, and that’s where this site is unique.
- Learning & Games: This site is also a private LMS — a Learning Management System; a platform for Course Creators to guide their learners through the information gathering journey in a series of Lessons and Quizzes. Users can access their courses by visiting My Learning dashboard in the left sidebar.
- Security & Skill development: Social media platforms today only care about making money from stealing our privacy and using information about us to target advertising. On a locked, private platform like this, we can more freely share information that might reveal our identity, preferences, and locations without risking the same access to fraudsters.
When you’re part of a group, you can contribute to family discussions, share updates, and reply to other notes in the group. Feel free to just watch or join a group to actively participate in the discussion. Please add your support however you can; we need you and value your input more than you know!

We originally parked this domain and built the space to host a good ‘ol private blog (centred around our love of Roxie and travel adventures); a web log of our travels. (Look at that dog logo… it rocks 🥰)
Today, this private online community is just for us family and close friends to catch up in a private forum, share their support, and teach our children how to manage their own private network.
Since Chris likes to keep data private, and strongly dislikes retargeting ads, this “platform” is entirely owned and operated by him. It’s a locked-down WordPress site built on a server he manages. So, please share and participate in group conversations with peace of mind that they will not be monitored by third parties, nor will you be solicited with to help pay for this platform. 😁
